Game Preview: Andrew College hits the road to face South Georgia
CUTHBERT, Ga - The Andrew College baseball team is set to hit the road for a much-anticipated conference matchup vs. South Georgia State College. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
The Fighting Tigers are coming off a split doubleheader against East Georgia State College, where they dominated in Game 1 with a 12-3 victory, but would unfortunately get a taste of their own medicine in a Game 2 shutout, 10-0.
The Cut Boys will be facing off against the 24-18 Hawks, who are coming off a three-game road trip and a two-game losing streak. However, sitting in third place in the GCAA, this will be a tough matchup for the Fighting Tigers. This marks the first of three matchups between these clubs this week.
They meet again Saturday, April 11, for a home doubleheader at Hord Athletic Complex.
Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 16 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
