Friday Baseball and Softball Games Canceled Due to Weather

CUTHBERT, Ga - Due to unforeseen weather conditions, the Andrew College Baseball and Softball games scheduled for Friday, March 13, have been canceled.

The Cuthbert and South Georgia community experienced a significant rainstorm, leaving the fields at Hord Athletic Complex in unplayable condition for Friday's scheduled doubleheaders.

Andrew College Baseball was set to face Macomb Community College of Warren, Michigan, in an afternoon doubleheader. The Fighting Tigers are currently 6-5 away from home and were looking to add a few wins at Hord Athletic Complex following a five-game road stretch. Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, against Georgia Highlands College at 4 p.m. EDT.

Andrew Softball was scheduled for a doubleheader against Chipola College. Similar to their baseball counterparts, the Lady Tigers were set to play a Friday afternoon doubleheader following four games on the road. Their next games are currently slated for Tuesday, March 17, at Hord Athletic Complex, though those contests may be subject to change.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
