CUTHBERT, Ga - Following a tough three-game weekend series against Florida Southwestern State College, the Fighting Tigers were eager to return to the win column, and on Tuesday afternoon, Andrew College did just that.
After falling in a tightly contested 11-10 battle in Game 1, the Fighting Tigers locked in to secure a 6-2 victory through seven innings, splitting the doubleheader in Thomasville.
The two games down south concluded a five-game road stretch. Andrew College now returns to Hord Athletic Complex on Thursday, Feb. 5 for another afternoon doubleheader against Wallace Community College-Dothan, with Game 1 first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m.
Following the five-game road trip, Thursday's contests will mark the first two games of a four-game homestand, which will conclude with a Monday doubleheader against familiar foe, Thomas University. Monday's doubleheader will be the final meeting between the two squads this season.
Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia.
