Game Preview: Fighting Tigers Baseball Versus Gordon State College | 5 p.m.

CUTHBERT, Ga - On Thursday, March 5, the Fighting Tigers will suit up for their second straight conference game when they face off against Gordon State College. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Andrew enters Thursday's matchup following a dominant 10-2 victory over East Georgia on March 3. Tuesday's game against the Bobcats was highlighted by home runs from 3B Cameron Kenney and OF Brady DeRosso.

With a win in Thursday's matchup, the Fighting Tigers would secure their second consecutive victory and return to .500 with an 11-11 overall record. Thursday's game also marks the first of five games on the road, concluding with a doubleheader against South Georgia State on March 10.

The Fighting Tigers currently sit in second place in the GCAA with a 1-0 conference record. Georgia Highlands leads the conference with a 21-7 overall record.

Thursday's game will be Gordon State's first conference matchup of the season and could allow the Fighting Tigers to strengthen their standing in the conference with a second consecutive conference win.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
