Bio
Na’Laya “Lay” Singleton
Sophomore middle blocker and outside hitter Na’Laya “Lay” Singleton comes to the Fighting Tigers from Sumter, South Carolina. A graduate of Crestwood High School, she was highly decorated, earning honors such as Athlete of the Year, MVP, and All-Region. Singleton was also active off the court in organizations including SGA, NTHS, NSHSS, and the Senior Board. She is pursuing a degree in Health Science and plans to continue her career path by joining the United States Air Force.
She is the daughter of Jada Singleton and one of nine siblings, with two living at home. Away from volleyball, she enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends, and doing hair—a skill she taught herself at just 11 years old.
