Cuthbert, Ga- Women's Soccer Surprises Oxford College of Emory University

The Andrew College Fighting Tigers went on the road to face Oxford College of Emory University Eagles.

The first time these two teams played each other Oxford won the match with a score of 9-0.

Today it was a completely different story as the defense for Andrew was spectacular. Even though the Fighting Tigers did give up two goals to the Eagles. Andrew had not only the goalie making saves but other defenders putting their bodies on the line to slow down Oxford's offense.

The Eagles did shut out the Fighting Tigers but overall, it was an improvement defensively for them.

The next game and final game for the Fighting Tigers will begin at 6:00pm EST on Monday 10/21/2024 at Wesleyan College.

Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
