Morris and Baker Selected to GCAA All-Region Second Team

CUTHBERT, Ga - Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 Women's Basketball regular season, the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association announced this year's All-Region Women's Team and season awards.

GCAA coaches select the All-Region players along with the Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors for the 2025-26 season.

From Andrew College, C Hannah Morris and, for the second consecutive year, G Braniya Baker were both selected to the GCAA All-Region Second Team.

Hannah Morris

Through 27 games this season, Morris averaged 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds while shooting 45.7 percent from the field.

Of her 27 games played, Morris scored in double figures in 20 contests, including a season-high 23 points and 13 rebounds in Andrew's final game against East Georgia State in the GCAA tournament quarterfinals.

Braniya Baker

Sophomore guard Baker served as a leader for this year's team. Already earning an All-Region selection during the 2024-25 season, Baker added to her Andrew College résumé with her second consecutive selection.

Baker finished the season averaging 8.9 points, 1.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 40.5 percent from the field. Baker plans to return to Andrew College and be part of the program's transition to the NAIA and the Southern States Athletic Conference.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
