Game Preview: Women’s Basketball Versus Central Georgia Technical College on Feb. 18
CUTHBERT, Ga - Coming off a seven-day break from action, the Fighting Tigers will take the floor in a conference matchup against Central Georgia Technical College on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 5 p.m.
After going on their second three-game winning streak of the season from Jan. 14-21, the Lady Tigers have fallen in four of their last five games. However, they still sit at 12-10 on the season and are ranked fourth in the GCAA, one game ahead of Central Georgia Tech.
This marks the second of three matchups between the two teams this season. In their first meeting on Jan. 21, the Fighting Tigers went on the road to Warner Robins and secured a dominant 86-70 victory highlighted by a season-high 24 points from sophomore guard Braniya Baker.
Central Georgia is 12-8 on the year and 3-5 in conference play. The Titans come to Cuthbert on a two-game skid following losses to South Georgia Tech and East Georgia.
The Lady Tigers have just six games left in the season and will face Central Georgia Tech twice during that stretch.
