Game Preview: Women’s Basketball vs. Southern Union State Community College

CUTHBERT, Ga. - The Lady Tigers are set to head on the road to face Southern Union State Community College for the second matchup of the season. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.

In the previous meeting, Andrew College rolled past Southern Union, 69-54, securing its fourth consecutive victory at the time. The win was highlighted by a 16-point performance from Hannah Morris, which earned her GCAA Women's Player of the Week honors. Since that fall semester matchup, the Lady Tigers remain undefeated at home and will look to gain momentum on the road after posting a 2-4 away record this season.

Despite some challenges away from Cuthbert, the Lady Tigers continue to play strong basketball. Sitting at 8-4 overall, Andrew College has already surpassed last season's win total of seven and remains undefeated at Jinks Gymnasium with a 6-0 home record.

After opening conference play, Monday's contest serves as the second-to-last nonconference matchup of the season.

The Lady Tigers return to conference action Wednesday, Jan. 14, against Southern Crescent Technical College at 5 p.m.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
