Game Preview: Andrew College Softball Versus Tallahassee State College

CUTHBERT, Ga - It's Opening Day in Cuthbert for the Andrew College Softball Team. Their first matchup at Hord Athletic Complex was originally scheduled for Jan. 31 against Enterprise State Community College, but was rescheduled due to weather.

Now, the Andrew Softball Team will face off against Tallahassee State College in their first home games of the 2026 spring season. The Lady Tigers are still looking for their first win of the season and are hoping to find the win column as they head into the weekend.

The Tallahassee State College Eagles are 5-7 on the year and come into Cuthbert having lost their previous three games.

Friday's doubleheader will be their final two games before a four-game stretch on the road beginning Feb. 18 versus Reid State Technical College.

With Opening Day finally here, first pitch against Tallahassee State is scheduled for 2 p.m., with Game 2 tentatively scheduled for 4 p.m.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
