Game Preview: Andrew College Softball Hits the Road Against Enterprise State For a Thursday Double-Header

CUTHBERT, Ga - The Lady Tigers softball team hits the road once again as they face Enterprise State Community College for a Thursday evening double-header. Game one's first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Following a tough slate of games this past weekend, the Lady Tigers will look to get in the win column against the Boll Weevils.

Despite the challenging four-game slate, several positives emerged from the matchups, including consistency at the plate from Michelle Chicas and Madelyn Ladner.

Through three games played, Chicas is batting .333 (3-for-9) with one run, one walk and two stolen bases. Ladner has been locked in at the plate as well, hitting .714 (5-for-7) with a double and a stolen base, and was also dominant in the circle during game three against Reid State. Despite the 11-3 loss, Ladner threw 7.0 IP and allowed 4ER while recording 2SO.

Thursday's road games will be the final two contests in a stretch of six consecutive road matchups. The Lady Tigers return to Cuthbert on Saturday, Jan. 31, when they face Enterprise State once again in a Saturday double-header. First pitch for Saturday's games is scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. EST.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
