Game Preview: Lady Tigers Double-Header vs. Reid State and Gulf Coast State

CUTHBERT, Ga - To round out the weekend's action, the Fighting Tigers will face Reid State and Gulf Coast State College in a weekend doubleheader.

To open the season, the Tigers fell 13-2 against Gulf Coast through five innings. Andrew College opened the game with an explosive two-run inning, followed by a scoreless first for Gulf Coast State. Unfortunately, those would be the Tigers lone runs of the game and would allow 13 consecutive runs including five in both the fourth and fifth innings.

Despite the loss, the Fighting Tigers will face Reid State, a team they defeated twice during the shortened fall season, including a dominant 14-6 victory on Sept. 6.

Andrew College is in the midst of six consecutive games away from home. Action begins at 11 a.m. against Reid State, followed by a 4 p.m. matchup against Gulf Coast State College for the teams' second meeting of the season.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
