Bio

Dr. Nicholas Garrett enters his third year as Head Football Coach for the Andrew College Fighting Tigers.

Garrett’s coaching resume spans multiple levels and states, with stints at Riverside Military Academy (Georgia), Santa Clara High School (California), Bethel College (Kansas), Western New Mexico University, East Los Angeles College (California), Hueneme High School (California), Kansas Wesleyan University (Kansas) and Graceland University (Iowa). Known for his ability to connect with athletes and build competitive, disciplined programs, Garrett has been a catalyst for success at each stop.

A native of Oxnard, California, Garrett brings a dynamic blend of leadership, experience and academic excellence. A graduate of Hueneme High School, he played collegiate football at Graceland University in Iowa, where he began laying the foundation for his extensive career in coaching and education.

Garrett holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration, a master’s degree in coaching and exercise science and a doctorate in higher education leadership.

Off the field, Garrett is married to Kassie Scott, and together they are parents to daughters Jayleen, Kenley and Kamdyn Garrett.
